Pocahontas - J.W. Lindsey, 86, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 at Five Rivers Medical Center. Born November 09, 1925 in Pocahontas to the late John and Gertie Lindsey. He is also preceded in death by wife Dorothy Lindsey, daughter Mary Thielemier, three brothers and five sisters. He is survived by two daughters; Vida Hackworth and Dianna Cruse both of Pocahontas, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and brother Wendell Lindsey of Pocahontas. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Mackie McReynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4-6 p.m.
