Harrisburg- June Morgan, 74, passed away Friday, August 9, 2019 at NEA Baptist Hospital.

She was born June 4, 1945 in Harrisburg to the late Herman and Nettie Newsom Meister. She retired after thirty-two years from Harrisburg Elementary School, where she was a teacher's assistant. She was an active member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Harrisburg. She leaves behind a good church family who will remember her as a Godly woman. June loved to ride horses and spend time with family.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of many years, Jay Morgan; her second husband, Kenneth Winters; a son, Jerry Morgan; a sister, Helen Meister and two brothers, Ernest Meister and Walter Meister.

She was survived by her loving companion, Max Eastin of Harrisburg; a daughter, Joy Morgan of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, B. J. Morgan and Alaisa Morgan and a great-granddaughter, Addee Morgan; her extended family, Max's children and grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Gregg-Weston Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Guy McMahan officiating. Interment will follow at Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm Tuesday at Gregg-Weston Funeral Home.
