Monette-Julie Mae Deatherage, 76, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024.

She was born February 2, 1948 to the late John and Dortha Nation Banks.  Julie worked for E.C. Barton Company for 29 years.  She was of the Baptist faith and liked to read, garden, and watch TV.

Julie was preceded in death by her brothers, Samuel and John Banks.

Julie is survived by her son, Erik (Tiffany) Deatherage of Monette; brother, Robert (Sondra) Banks of Lake City; grandson, Mark Deatherage; nephew, Michael (Nikki) Banks of Lake City; and great nephews, Tyson and Brody Banks.

A celebration of her life will be Monday, June 24, 2024 at 1 p.m. at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rick Stevens officiating.  The family will receive friends from noon until time of service. Interment will be at the Caraway Cemetery.
