Obituary

Trumann- Judy Kay Nichols, 74, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at her home.

She was born November 15, 1946 in Trumann to the late Everett and Nola Lasser Rigsbee. Mrs. Nichols retired after twenty-four years with Regions Bank where she was a loan officer. She was a live long member of the First Pentecostal Church in Trumann.

She is survived by her husband of nineteen and half years, Earnest Nichols; a daughter, Amy Walker; step-daughter, Mandy Clayton all of Trumann; grandchildren, Hannah Weems of Brookland, Chloe Walker and Noah Clayton both of Trumann; two great-granddaughters, Adeline Carter and Willow Estes; and niece, Kari Mullins (Jackie) of Trumann; a sister, Jo Ann Hatfield (Monte) of Lebanon, MO and many nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Gail Peeler and nephew, Greg Moody.

A celebration of her life will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021 at First Pentecostal Church in Trumann with Rev. William Holt and Rev. Chad Batson officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Chad Peeler, Jackie Mullins, Trenton Mullins, Nolan Mullins, Noah Clayton and Shannon Peeler.
