Obituary

Pocahontas - Judith Darlene (Cox) Seyler, 71 passed away October 23, 2015. Judy was born August 8, 1944 to the late Albert and Imogene (Johnson) Cox. She is survived by her children Tamari (Sam) Williams of Sherwood, AR, Heath (Gina) Seyler of Bradford, AR, and Latese Richmond of Hemet, CA, grandaughters Meghan (Greg) Jensen and Alexa Williams, grandsons Dalton Seyler, Ricky Howard and Marcus (Vanessa) Duran, three great-grandaughters, two nieces, one nephew and seven grandnieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Albert E. Seyler, sister Betty (Cox) Pierce, nephew Richard Scott Pierce and special friend Paul Dean Brown. While she was mainly a homemaker, Judy served the community for over 35 years as an Avon "lady". Judy was an avid bowler earlier in her life both locally and at many tournaments throughout the United States. She also enjoyed shopping, playing cards, watching television, dancing and singing. She was an active member in the American Legion Auxiliary and served as the president for many years. Judy will be remembered by friends and family as someone who enjoyed life, had a quick wit, not afraid to try new things and always the life of the party. Visitation will be held in McNabb Funeral Home on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. and burial will be at Randolph Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of choice.
