Jonesboro- Juanita Withem, 93, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born July 3, 1929 in Walnut Ridge to the late George Washington Foster and Este Freeman Foster. She retired from Hollingworth Dry Cleaners where she worked as an alterationist.  She was happily married to Aaron Withem until his passing in 1988. Juanita was an active member of Strawfloor Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and gardening. She loved being around people and spending time with her family.

She was survived by her children, Debi McKinney (Patrick) of Benton, David Withem of Bryant and Julie Casey (Jimmy) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Alcia McLemore (Wade)  of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Jeff Hatcher of Jonesboro; great-granddaughter, Charley McLemore; a brother, Carroll Foster of Southside and a sister, Glenda Soffray (Larry) of Jonesboro and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a baby, Sherrie Withem and two brothers, Paul Foster and Ben Foster.

A celebration of her life will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Russell officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tommy Soffray, Todd Foster, Ronnie Foster, Carroll Foster, Jr., Jeremy Mitchell and Ronny Tate.
