Obituary
Monette- Juanita Elizabeth Welch, 95, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 at St. Bernards Medical Center.
She was born April 3, 1925 in Monette to the late Bud and Fannie Huddleston. She had been a grade school teacher. Mrs. Welch had moved to Detroit for forty-two years and came back to Monette in 1991. She enjoyed dressing nice and jewelry. She was a member of the Monette First Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Welch; son, Lloyd Lee Welch and a niece, Vicki Redman.
She is survived by her son, Douglas Welch (Melissa) of Michigan; a sister, Martha Jo Kelley of Monette; a niece, Sharon Littlejohn; nephews, Mel Redman and Mickey Jo Littlejohn; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Lasting memorials may be sent to Little People of America or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Arrangements were entrusted to Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
