Obituary

Juanita (Niswonger) Hackworth, 97, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 at Randolph County Nursing Home.

She was born, October 9, 1927 in Walnut Ridge to the late Maniel and Eusa Bates Niswonger.  She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years.  She was also a longtime employee of Brown Shoe Company.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Maniel and Eusa Niswonger; and her husbands, John Biron and Tom Hackworth.

Juanita is survived by her son Joe and wife Ilene Biron; two grandchildren, Jonathan and wife Katie Biron and Emily and husband Rob Vickers; six great grandchildren, Emma, Charlotte, Andrew, and Grayson Biron, and Truman and Thomas Vickers.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 2 PM at Randolph Memorial Gardens with Nelson Henderson officiating under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital of a charity of the donor's choice.
