Mrs. Juanita Odom of Harrisburg, departed this life Sunday, September 1, 2019, at St. Bernard\u0027s Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 79.

She was born May 8, 1940 in Hickory Ridge, the daughter of the late Harold Hoots, Sr. and Avis Prince Hoots. Juanita married Clifford Odom in 1959 and they enjoyed 41 years together before his death in 2000. She loved to fish and watch t.v. and really enjoyed talking and spending time with family and kids. She attended the Assembly of God.

She is survived by three sisters, Betty Cansler (Bob) of Harrisburg, Nancy Edman (Ron) of Jonesboro and Connie Brewer of Bono, two brothers, Harold Hoots, Jr. (Bonnie) of Jonesboro and Leroy Hoots, Sr. (Eunice) of Hickory Ridge, three very special nieces, Ann Weeks, Sarah Weeks and Stacy Weeks Mross, and several other nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Funeral services are set for Thursday, September 5, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Harold Wayne Hoots officiating. Interment will follow in Lewis Cemetery at Hickory Ridge.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday evening, 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Weeks, Harold Hoots, Gary Cansler, Brad Sullins, Ron Edman and Bill Lowry.
