Pocahontas- Juanita Veda Bean, 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, AR

Juanita was born on September 28, 1934 in Maynard, AR to the late William Earnest and Katie Arnold Songer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dorman Bean: daughter, Sonja Nash; granddaughter, Suzanne Ridge: and brothers, Curtis, Arlie, and Lester Songer.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Will) Bowers; son, William Bean; grandchildren, Tonya (Chris) Throesch, Katie (Chad) Koons, Emily (Chris) Norris; step-grandchildren, Brian (Stephanie) Bowers, and Brett Bowers; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Everett Songer; brother-in-law Jim (Dorothy) Bean; sister-in-law, Virginia Bean; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday from 11 am to 1 pm with a funeral service immediately following at 1 pm in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Joshua Dement officiating. Burial will follow in Ingram Cemetery.
