Jonesboro- Juanita Adams, 91, passed away Saturday July 26, 2014 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born, April 14, 1923 in Lake City to the late A.M. Carner and Ora Adcock Carner, She was a farmer's wife who enjoyed quilting, gardening, raising flowers and children. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Coy Adams, daughter, Anita Tennant, sisters Leavourn Mcgough, Bonnie Carner, Bettye Emerick, and Sarah Overman, brothers, Eugene "Bootsie" Carner and Raymond "Hatchet" Carner, and one grandson, Ricky Lynn Adams Survivors include, her sons, Dennis Adams of Jonesboro, Larry Adams and wife Ann of Bono, sister, Norma Stotts, brothers, Billy Joe Carner and wife, Juanita, Marion Buddy Carner and wife, Linda, six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild. The family would like to thank Sam from EAAAA and the staff of Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House for their kind care and loving support. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Tuesday July 29, 2014 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 West Matthews Ave., Jonesboro with a graveside funeral following at 1:00 p.m. in Pine Log Cemetery, Pastor Doug Wellborn officiating.
