Pocahontas- Joye Nadine Obarts, 82, passed away on November 29, 2018 at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro.

Joye was born on July 13, 1936 in Ravenden Springs, AR to the late John and Bessie Davis Allison.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 38 years, Roy Obarts; brothers, Hurbert Allison, William Allison, Ray Allison; sisters, Geneva Looney, Beatrice Odom, Iva Mae Witcher and Melveda Murray.

She is survived by daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Obarts of Pocahontas; brother, Wayne (Carolyn) Allison of Cushing, OK; sisters-in-law, Hazel Allison of Pocahontas and Carolyn Allison of Perkins, OK; along with nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 1-2 pm at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with a funeral service immediately following at 2 pm with James Coker officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Roads Cemetery in Portia.

Pallbearers: Kenny Koenig, Junior Tribble, Donnie Tribble, Jessy Tribble, Glenn Obarts and Mike Jansen.
