Joyce Prater, 80 of Somerville, TN formerly of Pocahontas passed away January 17, 2022. She was born July 9, 1941, to Kid and Violet Reeves in Walnut Ridge, AR.

Our precious mom loved cooking, playing cards and most of all her family. She will be missed by so many. There will never be another like her.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Jerry Prater; parents Kid and Violet Reeves; brothers Carl Reeves and Ricky Reeves.

She is survived by her son Donald (Shelia) Prater; daughter Beverly (Mark) McNabb; adopted son Benny Johnson; grandchildren Shaunda (Derick) Baldridge, Justin (Kayla) Broadway, Tyler Broadway (Rose DeClerk); great grandchildren Isaac Nelson, Madison Goodman, Peyton Goodman, Jaxon Goodman, Benson Baldridge, Barron Baldridge, and Eleanor Broadway; sister Earnestine Lenderman.

Visitation will be held 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 20, 2022, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday 20, 2022 with burial to follow in the Randolph Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Justin Broadway, Derick Baldridge, Greg Lance, Mark McNabb, Randy Reeves, Robin Reeves and Tyler Broadway.

Honorary pallbearers are Benny Johnson and Carl Reeves.

All arrangements are under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
