Obituary
Jonesboro- Joyce Ann Norman, 80, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 at her home.
She was born July 13, 1938 in Jonesboro to the late Troy and Christine Seymour Brust. Mrs. Norman became a California girl when she moved to the west coast and lived over forty years in the sunshine state with her husband Alan. They enjoyed traveling and caring for their beloved pets.
She is survived by a sister, Geraldine Reed of Jonesboro; a niece, Janet Hooks (Mike) of Jonesboro; great-nieces and great-nephews, Tammy Hooks Lee (Joe Lee) of Jonesboro, Jessica McSpadden of Little Rock and Matt Hooks (Lindsey) of Jonesboro; and a host of other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Alan Norman; a niece, Donna McSpadden and a great-nephew, Carl McSpadden.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be 6:00 pm Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Tammy Hooks Lee and Jessica McSpadden officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you make donations to the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society.
