Bono- Joyce Ann King, 75, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
She was born December 29, 1942 in Violet Hill to the late J. V. and Corinne Smith. She was a secretary with a trucking firm. Mrs. King loved her family gatherings where family's stories and laughter that will be cherished forever. She loved reading, dancing, singing, playing cards, horses and feeding wild animals.
She was also preceded in death by three children, Veronica Mallett, Rhonda Mallett and Kenny Mallett.
She is survived by her children, Dewayne Mallett (Chasity) of Bono and Kim Figueroa (Chris) of Mesa, AZ; three sisters, Jeanette Wilson (Roger) of Nixa, Missouri, Venita Stalcup and Sandra Beasley (Gary) of all of Jonesboro; a brother, Joe Smith of Ft. Smith; eight grandchildren, Billy Mallett (Chantelle), Ashley Strazzullo (Gianluca), Courtney Rogers (Dakota), Trace Pate, Jason Mallett, Kristen Roskob, Codi Whipple (Jeremy) and Derek Figueroa; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 pm Tuesday at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
A celebration of her life will be 6:00 pm, Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Watson officiating.
Graveside service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Violet Hill Cemetery.
