Pocahontas-Josephine French,89, formerly of O'Kean passed away at Randolph County Nursing Home on April 3, 2014. She was a former member of Ford Dean Methodist Church. Josephine was born May 30, 1924 in O'Kean, AR to the late Jim and Ora Armstrong. She was a homemaker, store manager, and loved her yard with many trees and flowers in it. Her greatest joy was spent with her Grandchildren. She is survived by daughter Joann (Larry) Johnson, Jonesboro, 6 Grandchildren: Kim (Traci) French, Springfield, Mo, Brad French, Pocahontas, Wendy Puryear, Paragould, Mistie Blanton, Paragould, Jill Skaggs, Russellville, Jack Johnson, Jonesboro and several great grand children and great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ora Armstrong, husband Leo French, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and her Son, Jack French. Visitation will be Saturday, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. with service Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Mike Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Lasting Memorials may be made to Randolph County Nursing Home, Arkansas Chapter, Alzheimer's Association, or Charity of your choice.
