Obituary
Mr. Joseph Rowan Langford of Wynne, Arkansas, departed this life Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the Crossridge Community Hospital in Wynne, at the age of 86.
He was born October 11, 1932 in Jackson, MS, the son of the late Edwin B. Langford and Inez Brown Langford.
Joe was a riverboat pilot for over 22 years and retired from the Corp of Engineers. He was a U.S. Army Korean Veteran and of the Episcopal Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Voyles Langford of Wynne, one son, Edmund Langford of Cordova, TN, two daughters, Joanne Lambert of Bartlett, TN and Virginai Bowden of Mountain Home, AR, two stepsons, Junior Voyles (Barbara) of Wynne, and Charles Voyles (Treva) of Jacksonville, AR, one stepdaughter, Joanne Franklin of Wynne, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
