Paragould- Joseph Oren Buazard, 64, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at his home.

He was born August 29, 1957 in Lake City to the late Joseph Marion and Erma Lee Hopkins Buazard. Joseph worked at Arkansas State University for several years. He had also worked at Dr. Pepper from 1994 until 2003 and farmed.  He enjoyed fishing and playing with his dog and loved his family.

He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Mary Sue Buazard; his children, Joseph E. Buazard and Marietta Buazard; a sister, Beverly Mayfield all of Paragould; a brother, J. R. Mayfield of Lake City; grandchildren, Matthew Hamm of Lafe, Blake Edward Buazard, Joseph Dillion Buazard, Kindel Wade and N'kota Smith all of Paragould and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ollie Genie Wilbanks; a brother, Claude Wayne Buazard.

A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Life Church at 3017 McDaniel Road in Paragould.
