Mr. Jorge Alfredo "Freddie" Marroquin of Monette departed this life Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould, at the age of 40.

He was born October 27, 1980 in Montemorelos N.L. Mexico, the son of Victoriano Marroquin and Maria DeJesus Lopez Marroquin.

Freddie was a welder by trade and had worked at Nucor in Blytheville for over 10 years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed watching soccer. He is survived by his wife, Elsa Montano Marroquin, of the home, four children, Yadira Marroquin, Jorge Marroquin, Jr., William Marroquin, and Dylan Marroquin, all of Monette, five brothers, Jose C. Marroquin of Hornersville, MO, Victoriano Marroquin, Jr., of Monette, Cesar Marroquin of Monette, Oscar Marroquin of Monette, and Alejandro Marroquin of Senath, MO, and four sisters, Maria Magdelana of Mexico, Gloria Margarita of Cardwell, MO, Veronica Marroquin of Arbyrd, MO and Diana M. Marroquin of Senath, MO.

There will be a visitation at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, 7:00-9:00 p.m. Face masks are required! He will be transported to Mexico for burial. All arrangements are being handled by Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.
