Jon Robert Belford, 78, of Pocahontas, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at John J Pershing VA Medical Center.

Jon was born July 14, 1943, to Alvin and Jane Carlson Belford in Grand Blanc, MI.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and received the Purple Heart after being wounded as a combat medic during the Tet Offensive

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Jane  Belford.

Jon is survived by sons, Jonathan Belford of Burbank, CA, Judd (Jennifer) Belford of Hubert, NC, and Chad (Brandy) Belford of Baytown, TX; grandchildren, Chance Belford, Brayden Belford, Christina Belford, Max Belford, and Cadence Belford; sister, Linda Belford of Pocahontas; and close friend, Erma Bonds.

Cremation has been the chosen method of disposition.   There will be a private memorial at a later date.
