Johnny Brent Todd, 77, of Delaplaine entered his heavenly home on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

Johnny was born November 1, 1948, in O’Kean to the late James L. Todd and Grace L. Haney Todd. He was a man of deep Christian faith who loved the Lord with all his heart and soul. Johnny lived his life as a faithful servant of Christ, and his walk with the Lord was evident in the kindness, generosity, and steadfast love he showed to everyone he met. He was a devoted member of First Freewill Baptist Church, where he enjoyed worship, fellowship, and serving others. His faith was not only his foundation but also the legacy he leaves behind for his family and all who knew him. Johnny worked as an over-the-road truck driver and carried his Christian values with him wherever the road took him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Grace Todd; his loving wife, Kathy Todd; son, Brent Todd; siblings Jimmy Todd, James Todd, Wanda Ebert, Frank Todd, Mack Todd, Joe Todd and Carol Eads; and granddaughters Katie Todd and Amanda Rowe.

He is survived by his children, Charman (Denny) Rowe, Carlton (Tara) Todd, and Candace (Freddy) Cullum; grandchildren Randall Cummins, Logan Rowe, Hallie Wallis, Joseph Todd, Samantha Hatley, Faith Sharp, Jacob Todd, Andrew Todd, Casey Stormes, Dereck Ray, and Logan Ray; and great-grandchildren Katie Beth, Allison, Isabelle, Kenzi, Gavin, Keegan, Brent, Fia, Ripley, Audrey, Calista, Hazel, Madi, Isaac, Scarlet, Olivia, Landon, Gabby, Annabelle, Sophia, Wyatt and Lake; sister, Wyeda Bibb, along with many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 12, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 PM in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Epsaba Cemetery in Greene County.
