Johnny Ray Johnson, 68, of Royal, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023 at CHI St. Vincent Medical Center in Hot Springs.

He was born July 16, 1955 in Walnut Ridge to the late Marvin Johnson and Imogene Modlin Meridith.  He was a truck driver and of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Imogene and Charles Meridith; father, Marvin Johnson; and sister, Shirley Brown.

Johnny is survived by his wife Kathy Varvil Johnson; son, Jonathan B. (Hannah) Johnson; daughter, Brittney J. (William Curtis) Loftin; grandchildren, Rhett J. Loftin, Reese H. Loftin, Knox B. Johnson, and Parker J. Johnson; brother, Danny Johnson; sister, Rhonda Johnson; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 2-3 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 3 PM with Stuart Duke officiating.  Cremation has been chosen as the method of final disposition.
