Monette- Johnny Mack Moyer, 78, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

He was born May 30, 1944 in Milligan Ridge to the late James and Sylvia Lott Moyer. Johnny was formerly of Vance and Marks, Mississippi. He served proudly in the Mississippi National Guard. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Calvert Moyer; children, Dana Bridges and John A. Moyer; sister, Polly George; grandchildren, Tiffany Lofton, Amber Bridges and Sydney Moyer and great-grandchildren, Austin and Madison Bridges, Abigayle Sorrells and Fynn Lofton.

He is also preceded in death by a son, James Moyer; a grandson, Jake Moyer and four siblings.

A celebration of his life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Milligan Ridge Baptist Church with Elder Stokes officiating. Interment will follow at Manila Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from noon until time of service Saturday at the church.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Ronnie Tatum, Ron Tatum, Rusty Calvert, Steve Calvert, Mike Emison and Henry Thomas.

Lasting memorials may be sent to St. Judes Children Research Hospital.
