Johnny Lee Morris, of Harrisburg, departed this life Friday, July 5, 2019, at his home, at the age of 75.
He was born on June 8, 1944 in Lepanto, AR, the son of Robert Howard Morris and Cleather Shrout Morris. He married Jane Exum on May 1, 1965 and they enjoyed 54 years together. He was a member of the Harrisburg Church of God of Prophecy. Johnny was the owner and operator of Johnny's Muffler shop from 1992 until he retired in 2007. After his retirement he began buying a restoring tractors which became his hobby, and the standard joke being he wouldn\u0027t buy another tractor. The next thing you know he would be hooking up to the trailer, coming in the house with a big grin on his face saying someone called about a tractor for sale all the while he was saying he wasn\u0027t going to buy it. Next thing you know he was pulling in the driveway with a tractor. He would bring in some of the worst looking tractors but when he finished restoring them they were some of the best looking ones. He sold tractors in Michigan, Tennessee, and all over Arkansas. He was known to a lot of people as the "tractor man". Along with the tractors he loved to hunt in the hills and really loved camping. He also loved to tease all of his grandchildren.
