Bay- Johnny Adelbert Kimberland, 82, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at NEA Baptist Hospital.
He was born May 12, 1936 in Bay to the late Harve and Inez Duty Kimberland. He was a farmer, ginner and a dog trainer. He loved to fish, hunt, going to yard sales, auctions and collected John Deere toy tractors.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Annette Kimberland; his children, Harvey Kimberland (Louellen) of Walnut Ridge, Cheryl Lynn (David) and Barry Kimberland (Debbie) all of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Casie Rose (David) of North Little River, SC, Aaron Kimberland of Little Rock, Cecily Mancini of Los Angeles, California, Bryan Kimberland of Walnut Ridge, Riley Kimberland of Austin, Texas and Johnny Mancini of Jonesboro; great-grandchildren, Trenton Rose and Emily Rose; sisters, Ruby Tombolato (David) of Winston-Salem, NC and Sylvia Holland (Wayne) of Aurora, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Arthur, J.W. and Earl Kimberland and Vernie Nash and two sisters, Frances and Margaret Kimberland.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Dal Hogan and Harles Banks officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Donnie Davis, Jon Hampton, Matthew Banks, David Milam, Corbert Rodgers and Mike Bradford.
