Monette- Johnny D. Crum, 68, of Monette, passed away Tuesday September 30, 2014 at St. Bernard\u0027s Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born March 15, 1946 in Arbyrd, MO to the late Elmo and Jessie Doherty Crum. Mr. Crum was the former owner of Closed Circuit Security and will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his loving wife, Kathy Darr Crum of the home; daughter, DeAnna Poe and husband Gary of Cardwell, MO; grandchildren, Brittany Hurst and Shelby Hurst both of Cardwell, Alyssa Brewer, Kelsey Brewer and Toyre Brewer all of Collierville, TN; one great grandchild, Brentley Hurst of Cardwell; three brothers, Larry Crum and wife, Peggy of Memphis, TN, Gary Crum and wife, Pat, of Hernando, MS, and Harry Don Crum and wife, Linda, of Kennett, MO. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Brewer. A celebration of Johnny\u0027s life will be 2:00 pm, Friday October 3, 2014 in the chapel of Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with Lee Merideth officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6 pm until 8 pm.
