Obituary
Johnny Ray Barrett, 68, of Ravenden Springs passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at his home.
He was born September 26, 1951 in Caraway, AR to the late William Frank and Nadine Barrett.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents: sister, Patricia Ann Barrett; and brother, Daniel Franklin Barrett.
He is survived by daughters, Cindy (Larry) Helms, Anna Jaarda, Sandy Smith, Melissa Barrett, and Angie Barrett; son, Jonny (Christy) Barrett; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Joy Gene Barrett of Paragould, Gloria Dean Barrett of Mountain View, Percilla Mae Barrett of Paragould, Debbie Sue Church of Taylorsville NC; and brother, Michael Lee (Lanna) Barrett of Prinston KY.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020, from 1-2 P.M. with services at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with David Morris and Shawn Schaeffer officiating. Burial will follow at Caraway Cemetery.
To follow the directives of Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, masks covering the mouth and nose are required for all persons in Arkansas for all indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to non-household members where social distancing cannot be assured. Those attending will also be asked to sign a contact registry and maintain a social distance.
