Mr. John Damon Vaughn of Harrisburg, Arkansas, departed this life Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at his home, at the age of 57.
He was born February 7, 1963 in Osceola, Arkansas, the son of the late William Dale Vaughn and Alvie Louise Wallace Vaughn.
John grew up in Wilson, Arkansas and was a farmer, diesel mechanic and truck driver. He enjoyed Stock Car Racing and was a christian. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Betty June Holloway.
He is survived by one daughter, Jordan Wilson of Manila, one son, Jeffrey Thompson (Stephanie) of Portageville, MO, two sisters, Phyllis Bruce (Mike) of Jonesboro and Sara Thomas of Harrisburg, one brother, Rodger Vaughn of Osceola, 7 grandchildren, Gage Petty, Kambry Petty, Jeffrey Thompson, Ryder Thompson, Elliott Thompson, Major Thompson and Lenox Thompson.
No services have been announced and his body will be cremated.
