Forrest City - John Larry Sumner, 67, passed away March 13, 2018 at Forrest City Medical Center.

He was born June 19, 1950 in Pocahontas to Nicholas Gant and Goldie Mae Johnson Sumner.

He was preceded by his parents; 4 brothers, J.C. Sumner, John William Sumner, 2 infant brothers; and 3 sisters, Catherine McKinney, Lorine Brown and Irene Honeycutt.

He is survived by 1 brother, James R. Sumner of Batesville; 3 sisters, Corine Harris of Marana, AZ.,Wilmalene Sumner of Arkansas and Darlene Engelhoven of Van Buren, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

All services will be at McNabb Funeral Home on Monday, March 19, 2018. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with a funeral service following at 11:00 AM with Joshua Dement officiating. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM at the Manila Cemetery.
