John William Seagraves, 73, of Pocahontas, AR passed away May 31, 2021, at his home.

John was born December 5, 1947, to the late William (Bill) Carmel Seagraves and Alvera Tyler Seagraves. He served in the Army and was in C Company 2nd Battalion, 23rd Infantry Division and spent 2yrs in Korea from 1967 - 1969. John retired from body work after 46 years. He also was a volunteer at Camp Quality Arkansas for the past 8 years.

John was an avid hunter, Cardinals fan and huge fan of watching his granddaughter's volleyball team.

John was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Alvera Seagraves.

John is survived by his wife Dixie Darlene Seagraves of the home; children Joshua Hunter (Amy) Seagraves of Benton, and Sara Elizabeth (Jeremy) Seagraves-Brainard of Mammoth Springs; grandchildren Addy Mae and Makenna Seagraves of Benton; Honorary grandchildren: all the campers he's had at Camp Quality Arkansas over the last 9 years; six siblings, Utah (Linda) Seagraves of West Fork, Charles (Terrie) Seagraves of Pocahontas, Sharon (Bob) Crismon of Pocahontas, Michael (Barb) Seagraves of Pocahontas, Sandra (Ed) Nichols of Gassville, and Pamela Seagraves of Pocahontas.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday June 3, 2021, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday June 4, 2021, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with Nelson Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Gravesville Cemetery.

Family requested that if you have Not been vaccinated please wear a mask.
