Pocahontas- John Eugene Rodgers, passed away October 12, 2017 at Randolph Home.
John was born May 23, 1930 in Pocahontas to Lester and Lilly Haley Rodgers. He served in the Army during the Korean War and worked for Atwood Vacuum Products for 38 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Allie Rodgers; 2 brothers, George Rodgers, Elmer Ray Rodgers; 2 sisters, Olett Rodgers Carter and Diane Rodgers Richmond.
He is survived by sons, Larry Rose of Byron, IL, Tom Rose of Rockford, IL; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Juanita Rodgers Wilson; brothers, William Rodgers and Ben Rodgers.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Maynard Methodist Church from 9-10 am with a funeral service immediately following at 10 am. Burial in Maynard cemetery.
