Obituary
Jonesboro- John Woolridge Pasmore, 84, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center.
He was born September 2, 1934 in Jonesboro to the late Dr. Daniel Frederick Pasmore and Mrs. Howard Baker Wooldridge Pasmore. He owned and operated Pasmore Printing from 1954 until 1997, when he was pleased to sell the business to Lisa Harrell. Every February, he joined his sons and grandsons for the "The Great February Campout". John was an artist who loved painting, country music, traveling and fishing. He loved his family and friends who called him DeDa. His home was a haven to his children and their friends. He will be remembered as a good man, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He was survived by his wife, Cheryl Melville Pasmore; his children, Vicki Micklish Pasmore of Hernando, MS, John Micklish Pasmore of Jonesboro and Emily Pasmore Doyle (Derek) all of Jonesboro; daughter-in-law, Amy Trebilcock of Jonesboro; grandchildren, John Christopher Smock, David Smock, Zachary Smock, John Lewis Pasmore, Drew Pasmore (Jamie), MariBeth Durham (Cameron), Spencer Trebilcock, Allison Trebilcock and Abigail Trebilcock; a great-grandson John Slay Smock; lifelong friend and sister-in-law, Jean McCarty Pasmore; nieces and nephews, Fred Pasmore, Debra Pasmore, Daniel Pasmore, Mark Miller, Bill Miller and Janie Miller.
He was preceded in death by wife, Marilu Micklish Pasmore; step-son, Jay Trebilcock; brother, Fred H. Pasmore and sister, Anna Joyce Pasmore Miller.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Friday, March 8, 2019 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Miles officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are John Christopher Smock, Zachary Smock, John Lewis Pasmore, Drew Pasmore, Mark Miller and Derek Doyle and as honorary pallbearers, Bill Miller, David Smock and Cameron Durham.
Lasting memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
