John Thomas
Pardew
April 21, 1949 – June 4, 2026
John Thomas Pardew, 77, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on June 4, 2026 surrounded by the love he spent a lifetime building around him. He was born on April 21, 1949 to the late James and Frances Sample Pardew. A devoted family man, loyal friend, and tireless worker, John leaves behind a legacy as steady and warm as the man himself.
Born and raised with deep roots in Arkansas, John pursued his education at Arkansas State University. He went on to serve his country proudly in the United States Army, a chapter of his life that shaped his discipline, his integrity, and his unwavering sense of duty.
John was a hard worker in every sense of the word, the kind of man who believed that showing up and giving your all was simply the right way to live. Those who worked alongside him at Colson Castor Corporation knew they were in the presence of someone who led by example, never asking of others what he wasn’t willing to give himself. But for all his dedication, it was the simple pleasures that brought John the most joy, a day at the lake could put a smile on his face like nothing else. He cherished his friends deeply and kept them close. Most of all, he loved his family with everything he had, and his dogs were as much a part of home as anything else.
John is survived by his son Jake Pardew.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Mandi Riley.
John Thomas Pardew was one of the good ones. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
