Mr. John Mervin Bolden, of Harrisburg departed this life Thursday night, at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, at the age of 79. He was born November 26, 1932 in Tyronza, the son of John Benjamin Bolden and Bessie Barton Bolden. Mervin grew up in the Pleasant Hill Community near Judd Hill and graduated from McCormick High School in 1950. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Germany.
