Jonesboro John J.R. Redman Isbell Jr., 88, died Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Craighead Nursing Center. He was born February 19, 1921 in Bay to the late John and Ithai Isbell. He retired from Singer in Trumann. He served his country proudly during World War II in the United States Navy. J. R. was a longtime member of the Bay United Methodist Church.
