Pocahontas - John W. Greve Jr., 79, passed away Sunday October 19, 2008 at Randolph County Nursing Home. He was born September 2, 1929 in Vida, MO., to the late John SR. and Beulah Greve. He is preceded by one brother, Paul H. Greve. He is survived by his loving wife and friend Jewell Greve of the home. By one brother, Raymond Greve of Countryside, IL. Also, two nephews and one niece, and many great nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends. John retired from Southwestern Bell after 29 years of service. John also served 4 years in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Services will be held 2:00 Wednesday in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery with Nelson Henderson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 Tuesday in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.
