Joel Brent Wadkins Jr., 25 of Reyno passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at his home. He was born May 22, 1998 in Newport to Joel Wadkins and Tracy Stowers Wadkins. He was employed by Harps Food Store.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother, Christine Stills and maternal great grandfather, Raymond Stills, paternal great grandmother Ruth Lewis.

Brent is survived by his parents, Joel and Tracy Wadkins; sister, Paige (Jonathan) Halcomb and brother, Ryan Wadkins; nephew, Rhett Halcomb; maternal grandparents, Don and Vicky Stowers; paternal grandmother, Sandra Tooley; aunts and uncles, Donald and Misti Stowers, Ray and Laurie Stowers, Gary Wadkins, Melanie (Curtis) Robinette, Nathan Wadkins, Marnie (Josh) Walters and Joshua Wadkins; cousins, Matthew and Alex Stowers a host of other cousins; special friends, Chris and Tiffany Palmer, Bryan and Taylor Snyder, CJ and Natalie Palmer, Alicia Jacobs and Samantha Crossen and many other friends and family.

Visitation will be held 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2023 in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Dan Avery officiating. Burial will follow in the Chesser cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at McNabb Funeral Home or Farmers and Merchants Bank.
