Bono- Joe Allen Ross, 80, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

He was born March 29, 1942 in Coscilla, Mississippi to the late Andrew and Doris Mullen Ross.  Joe served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He retired after thirty-three years with the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Donna Powell Ross; children,  Shauna Drashcovich (Michael), Charles Andrew Ross (Jeannie), Doris "Dodie" Ross (John Christman) Bradley Brumley (Kimberly), Kari Brumley and Michael Bellah; fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

He is was also preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Emma Charlene Ross; daughter, Anetta Renae Ross; brothers, Edward Ross and Daniel Ross.

A memorial visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2022 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
