Jonesboro- Joe Kay Primm, 84, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at St. Bernards Medical Center.
He was born February 19, 1936 in Caraway to the late William and Cleve Earl Primm. Joe worked at Jac's Appliance for over forty-seven years. He was loved by his family and enjoyed watching his grandkids grow up. He also enjoyed bowling and was a Cardinals fan. Everyone loved him and he loved them back. His favorite quote was "I'll give you a wooden nickel."
He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Ruby Primm; his children, Susan Primm Farr (Steve) and Mike Primm; grandchildren, Misty Mink (Matt), Samantha Clark, Autumn Edwards (Eric), Eric Timmons (Britany) and Aaron Primm (Larrisa); brothers, Bruce Primm and McArthur Primm; sister, Shelby Tate and ten great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Primm; grandson, Brandon Primm and his siblings, Pansy Howell, Shirley Williams, Alvin Primm, J.T. Primm and Donald Wayne Primm.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020 at Walnut Street Baptist Church.
A celebration of his life will be 2:00 p.m. at Walnut Street Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Elkins officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
All attendees must wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.
