Joe Luther Marlett Sr., 53, of Reyno passed away Wednesday May 1, 2024, at the Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro.

He was born on June 14, 1970, to Joseph Carroll Marlett and Mary Francis Nance Marlett. Joe was a truck driver before retirement and loved his family and friends dearly. He was a diehard Razorback fan and loved vintage cars.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Carroll Marlett.

He is survived by his sons, L.J. (Catherine) Marlett of Benton and Shelby (Brie) Avery of Pocahontas; grandson, Xander Avery of Pocahontas; mother, Mary Marlett of Fordyce several other aunts, uncle, family and friends.

In the final years of his life, he had many medical issues. To honor his former doctors and to help future doctors his body has been donated to UAMS in Little Rock for educational purposes.
