Joe Lemmons, 84, of Pocahontas died Friday, January 8, 2016. Born November 30, 1931, in Randolph County, he was the son of the late Guy and Fannie (Ivy) Lemmons. A lifetime resident of Randolph County, he was retired from farming. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Martha Bennett Lemmons; his brother, Edward Guy Lemmons; and sister Billie Sue Lemmons Pender. Survivors are his daughter, Dana (Stephen) Thompson of Cabot; three grandchildren, Steven (Carrie) Singleton of Amarillo, TX, Zachary (Brittany) Singleton of Beebe, and Brach Thompson of Bryant; two great-grandchildren, Jace Tyler and Sarah Kate Singleton of Amarillo, TX; one sister, Minnie Lemmons Davis of Pocahontas, and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Graveside services, celebrating his life will be Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Gardens with Bill Gay officiating. Pallbearers are Steven and Zachary Singleton, Brach Thompson, Kenneth Bennett, Jerry (Butch) Pender, and Joey Lemmons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paragould Children\u0027s Home, 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, AR 72450 or a charity of the donor\u0027s choice in memory of Joe Lemmons.
