Bono- Joe Allen Isom, 64, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 7, 1948 in Walnut Ridge to the late William Harold and Nola Isom. He retired after thirty-two years from Riceland Foods. He is survived by his wife, Revia D. Isom; a son, Randy Isom (LeeAnn Cline); a daughter and her husband, Teresa and James Holland all of Bono; five grandkids and two step-grandkids, Chelsea, Clayton and Chad Isom all of Sauk Rapids, MN, Andrew and Sean Holland, Zackery and Ian Mitchell all of Bono; a brother, Jerry Isom (Linda Lambert); two aunts, Effie Williams of Walnut Ridge and Ella Williams of Jonesboro. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold "Hootie" Isom. A graveside service will be 10:00 am, Monday, July 29, 2013 at Herman Cemetery with Danny Murphy officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 5:00 pm, Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 W. Matthews Ave. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Steve Bonham, Daniel Bonham, Dwayne Isom, Taylor Isom, Corey Isom and Jim Petty and as honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons.
