Obituary

Pocahontas - Joe Amos Graddy, age 85 years, 4 months, and 7 days, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Five Rivers Medical Center. Born April 17, 1925 to Lee and May Graddy. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Jestine, two infant daughters, one sister, and three brothers. He is survived by his wife Shirley of the home, daughter Susan Jestine \u0026 husband Robert Pounds of Pocahontas, two sons; Ronnie Joe \u0026 wife Rena Graddy of Supply and Terry Wayne \u0026 wife Cathy Graddy of Jonesboro, AR. One brother Leon (Louise) Graddy of Center, TX and one sister-in-law Helen Knowlton of Supply. Three step-sons, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Marvin Marshall, Perry Vandergriff, and Paul Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in Legate Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday night from 5-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers include: Terry Graddy, Chris Graddy, Ronnie Graddy, Benjamin Graddy, Robert Pounds, and Donnie Knowlton. Honorary Pallbearers are the grandchildren: Callie Pounds, Jamie Graddy, Tracy Pratt, Misty Graddy, Dalton Graddy, Burt Graddy, and Scarlett Graddy.
