Joann Medlock Haynes, 78, of Pocahontas, AR, passed away December 14, 2017. She was born October 25, 1939, in Randolph County, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo Isaac Medlock and Edna Mae Medlock, a brother, Carl Lee Medlock, and a sister, Shirley Mae Medlock Bess. She is survived by her brother, James Lowell "Bomber" Medlock, of Sherwood, Arkansas, nephews, Gregg and Timmy Medlock of Sherwood, Arkansas, Tracey Medlock of Springdale, Arkansas, as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Joann worked faithfully for Brown's Shoe Company in Pocahontas for over twenty years before retirement. She then became a dedicated house keeper to many persons around the community while taking care of her mother until her death in 2015.

The Medlock Family would like to thank the entire staff of Above and Beyond Home Care of Pocahontas for providing excellent care and comfort during this transitional time.

Joann will be missed by her family and friends that knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Arkansas, Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Gardens.
