Mrs. Joann Crouch of Harrisburg departed this life Friday morning, March 10, 2017, at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 74.
She was born February 16, 1943 in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Adell Eppes and Stella Abston Eppes.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Harrisburg Church of Christ. She enjoyed crafts and painting. She married Dickey Crouch on May 19, 1962 and they enjoyed 55 years together. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Mara and Amanda Crouch, four brothers, Melvin Eppes, Buddy Eppes, Glen Eppes, and Bob Eppes, and two sisters, Vera Jordan and Vernie Wallace.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dickey Crouch of the home, one son, Jeff Crouch of Harrisburg, one daughter, Debbie Crouch of Harrisburg, one brother, Steve Eppes (Janie) of Hickory Ridge, two sisters, Jessie Mae Vaughn of Hardy and Joyce Blake (Cletus)of Hardy, and two grandchildren, Gage Armstrong and Grant Crouch.
Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel with her nephew Rickey Eppes officiating. Interment will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday, 10 a.m. till service time.
Pallbearers will be Marty Eppes, Tony Whittingham, Ronnie Love, Phillip Polston, Gregg Crouch, Cade Condra, Gregg Henry and Gregg Lovell.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be sent to Children's Homes, Inc. in Paragould, AR.
