Pocahontas-Joan Hubertine (Gschwend) Farley, age 79, died July 27, 2007. She was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on February 6, 1928 to the late Mathias (Mott) J. and Martha Steimel Gschwend. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Andrew Farley, Jr.; sisters Dorothy, infant twins and infant triplets. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, John A. and Jennifer Farley of North Little Rock and daughters and sons-in-laws, Marilyn A. and Burnis Posey of Jonesboro and Patricia (Patti) S. and Rick Brunner of Rogers. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Burnis Posey, Jr, Stephen Posey, Chris Posey, John Michael Posey, Cassandra (Cassie) Monson, Lisa Hines, Bridgette Brunner, Jessica Farley, Jana Farley and Jill Farley; great-grandchildren, Emily and Haley Hines and Caroline and Elizabeth Posey; and brothers, James Gschwend, Henry Gschwend, Raymond Gschwend, and Tom Gschwend; and sisters, Frances Thorson and Freda Pope. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30th at St. Paul\u0027s Catholic with Father John Marconi officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 29th from 5-7. A Rosary service will begin at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Paul School, 311 Cedar Street, Pocahontas, AR 72455.
