Paragould- Jimmy D. Shaver, 71, passed away Thursday, February 02, 2023, at Green House Cottages of Belle Meade.

He was born April 20, 1951, in Monette to the late Odie and Vidline Timms Shaver. Jimmy retired from Monroe after 43 years. He enjoyed watching television and listening to music. He especially loved listening to Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley. A truly special brother, he was dearly loved by his family.

He is survived by his brother, Joe Shaver (Mary Ann) of Lake City; sisters, Ella Sanderson of Monette and Debra Bader (Pat) all of Monette; daughters, Vicki Hayes (Paul), Mindy Galczynski (Scott), and Jessica Carroll all of Paragould; grandchildren, Candice Gilmore (Casey), Victoria Hayes, Jacob Hayes, Brylee Carroll, Katherine Galczynski, Cooper Hayes, and Austin March; great-grandchild Dominick March.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Hutchinson; daughter, Nikki March, and granddaughter, Adison Carroll

A celebration of his life will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Gregg Funeral Home with David Price officiating. Interment will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Pat Bader, Danny McFarlan, Don Sims, Zach Barnes, Lynn Barnes, Casey Gilmore, and Scott Galczynski.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time-of-service Tuesday at the funeral home.
