Jimmy Lee Scherrer, 52 of Maynard departed this life on June 20, 2021, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Jimmy was born December 4, 1968, to Billy Foster Scherrer and Diane Williams Scherrer in St. Louis, MO.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father Billy Scherrer; brother Billy Dale Scherrer; grandparents, Rudolph and Gurtie Ezell Williams and Charlie and Jesse Hill Scherrer.

Jimmy is survived by his mother, Diane Scherrer of Maynard; sisters Teresa Scherrer of Savannah, TN, Lisa Harper of Pocahontas, Janie (Kendall) Lynxwiler of Maynard, and Becky Mann of Steele, MO; brother Wid Scherrer of Maynard; brother-in-law Dennis Kerley of Maynard; eight nieces: Anna Johnston, April Coffman, Ashley Melton, Melissa Perkins, Lori Lynxwiler, Nicole Mann, Andrea Scherrer, and Jessica Scherrer; three great-nephews and fifteen great nieces; two great friends, CeCe, and Julie Beth; and many cousins.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021, in the Overby Cemetery with Roger Hovis officiating.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death of sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever. Revelation 21:4
