Obituary

Jonesboro- Jimmy Ray Lincoln, 87, went to be with our Lord suddenly at 3:07 p.m. on October 10th, 2023 at St. Bernards Medical Center with his family by his side.

Jimmy was born on May 19, 1936 in Trumann to the late Raymond and Bernice Lincoln. He was a graduate of Jonesboro High School and of the Baptist faith. He served proudly in the United States Army. He was employed by Bryan Foods for thirty years. After retiring he had many hobbies, such as fishing, tending to his beautiful flower garden and playing years of golf with his buddies. He would grill for his friends at the course so after that he was nicknamed "Bologna".

He was survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Mary Lincoln; a daughter, Ashley Lincoln- Tierce; three grandsons, Wes Worthington, Jonathan Tierce and Deacon Tierce; his best friend, Bill Baker and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Melissa Christanio and sisters, Maureen Blankenship, Jane Gambil and Doris Weaver.

His family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2023 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

A private graveside service for the immediate family will follow the visitation at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Lasting memorials may be sent to St. Jude or American Heart Association.
