Imboden, AR - Jimmy Lee Daffron, 65, passed away Sunday, May 06, 2012. Born December 06, 1946 in Duquoin, IL to James and Dorothy Daffron. He is preceded in death by father James Clark Daffron. He is survived by wife Darlene Sue Daffron of the home, four sons; Scott Daffron of Monrovia, CA., Justin Daffron and Jared Daffron both of Pocahontas and Brian Daffron of Harrisburg, AR. Eleven grandchildren; Mckenzie, Nicholas and Ty Daffron all of Monrovia, CA., Lyndsi and Travis Bagwell both of Pocahontas, Morgan, Bryson and Preston Daffron all of Harrisburg, AR and Cameron, Rylee and Tobey Daffron all of Pocahontas. Two brothers; Oscar "Pete" Daffron of Bakersfield, CA and Brad Daffron of Duquoin, IL and mother Dorothy Lee (Smith) Daffron of Duquion, IL. Mr. Daffron served in the United States Marine Corp in the Vietnam War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal and the Presidential Unit Citation Medal. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Jim Daffron's name. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 09, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Doyle Avery officiating. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday night from 6-8 p.m.
